Ingredients
- 8 Stalks of Chinese broccoli (such as gai lan or choy sum)
- 3/4 Garlic clove
- Figs quartered
- 2 x Shallots
- 3 x Heaped tablespoons of oyster sauce
- Olive oil
- 3 x Tablespoons of Shaoxing wine

A wonderful side dish to compliment any main dish.Method
- Steam the broccoli over hot water.
- Meanwhile, peel and finely chop the garlic and shallots.
- Fry them for a minute or two a little oil..
- Stir in the oyster sauce and the wine and bring to the boil
- Let the sauce reduce for a minute or two then pour over the broccoli.
